• On the 22 September 2000 representatives from ALSTOM T&D Protection & Control received the "LOOSY" award at the UCA Interoperability Demonstration during the UCA^TM Initiative Meeting in Andover, MA, USA. The "LOOSY" is given to vendors whose equipment has sent (set loose) a GOOSE message, or utilities, who have implemented the GOOSE, as validated by a network snooper.
