In service at TVA. TELEGYR’s StationMANAGER substation controller supports UCA 2.0 communications over Ethernet. Data from UCA and traditional sources can be used to populate ObjectBase, a database that uses GOMSFE models, augmented by Telegyr UserViews, to represent information. ObjectBase can be browsed & can be mapped to serve data to ports or apps.
8 serial comm ports, using a mix of protocols, can import non-UCA data or export data to other systems. Two other ports handle special functions: configuration downloads & GPS time.
Telegyr has integrated SISCOs MMS Ease Lite product to support UCA 2.0, including MMS protocol and services, and OSI or TCP/IP stack.

Prototype of the harmonized IEC/UCA GOOSE protocol stack. This implementation shows the feasibility of IEC-GOOSE mechanism on a UCA network without any malfunctions. IEC-GOOSE exchange to ABB relays and OMICRON Test device.
Device also demonstrated at 09/2000 USI meeting in Andover. This implementation also used as part of the European project OCIS (Open Communications in Substations).
